I got my PUZZLE DVD's the other day. I had to go pick them up from the customs, but a nice officer lady gave them to me free since they were only 3 euros over the limit ;_; It made me so happy when I was feeling blue thinking I have to pay over 20e to customs ♥
So, I watched them all! I had ordered both versions on a weak moment, but I don't regret it AT ALL! Both versions were just awesome. The concert part was amazing and I was kind of happy to see a bit different jokes on the ranger skit than the one I saw @ all-last. They probably came up with those soosu/shouyu jokes somewhere on the way :D (Subaru-Ryo-Yasu team had bottles of some sauce and soy sauce (shouyu) while saying そーっすね and しょうゆうこと (そういうこと).. I know, horrible XD On the ending roll there actually was a picture of this but the bottles were censored so it looked really weird :D)
Speaking of all-last.......... the recording and performing of Hitotsu no Uta. I was literally crying through it. Oh man. If you listen really carefully, you can here me!! Ok ok you can't :,( I still like the feeling that I was actually there, right there with them learning the song and hearing it. It was really amazing on DVD and even better live. I've never been to a DVD! Now I am! I know it's ridiculous to be so happy about it when I was there WITH 45000 people but... XD When they were shooting the audience with lights half-on, you could really see how HUGE the dome is and how much people there were. While watching the concert part, I didn't really notice how big the venue was, even though I know it's Tokyo Dome and it's even bigger than Kyocera Dome.
My favorites songs on the concert must've been Rolling Coaster and Mugendai. I really liked the way they performed Rolling Coaster and how Subaru ended it with a small "ookini". Ryo seemed to be really amused by it :D Mugendai always makes me cry being THE encore song. It's when the fans yell the 8 words in the beginning when I always get so emotional that I end up crying :D I'm a small bit disappointed at the lack of MC but well, it happens. At least 47 had an MC even though they didn't list it in the track listing, but maybe that was just because of the whole episode with Yoko's mic. Oh well, all the awesome DVD extras make up for that. Like the gorilla video!! I was so happy to notice they had it there XD
The PUZZLE video and documentary was really nice. Everyone said nice things that made me really realize why I love Kanjani so much. I'm really happy that they are a group that has actually fought their way up to where they are now, in contrast to most debuted Johnny's groups. Not that other groups are worse, but Kanjani has a little different feeling to them. Of course it's not ONLY because of their history but anyway.
And the Hina's CM dokkiri... I laughed too much. How can a serious Hina be so funny?! I love Hina exactly because he can change things positive just like that. While he must have been at least a bit disappointed that he wasn't actually getting a CM, his reaction was "This is certainly going to be a really funny DVD extra for the fans" and seemed honest about it!! Oh Hina ♥ I'm bit behind with Recomen, and I was just today listening to 7/30 Recomen, which was the exact day when they had started planning the dokkiri. I was kinda having fun thinking all three of them (Maru was a guest) were hiding something: Hina that he was getting a CM, and Yoko&Maru the fact that he actually WASN'T :D Fun times.
Definitely a worth buying DVD. I love both to pieces. I want to show them to everyone and their moms but I know people would be like "yeah, cool *not interested*" .. :D + I don't know if it's just me, but I feel very insecure if I have to show some Kanjani stuff to people who don't understand Japanese. I can't really understand the feeling of not understanding them since I understood Japanese enough already 4 years ago. Of course, not even NEAR as much as now, but as much to listen to Recomen and actually understand more than not understand. Or maybe I just thought I understood :-D That is also a bit of a problem with me and English/Finnish speaking fandom. I could go on and on about something that was SO FUNNY!! and when people just... wouldn't understand it, I'd find it difficult to understand THAT :D It's like realizing the reasons we are in this fandom are totally different. Oh well!
ANYWAY, the concert was awesome ♥ The extras were awesome ♥ I'm so happy ♥

Kanjani8 Puzzle Tour 07/30 all-last @Osaka Dome

I got an inspiration to write a short report of the all-last concert of Kanjani8's PUZZLE tour I went to. I won't write a full detailed report since I'm sure someone has already done that, plus I can't remember everything that well and detailed. Plus this tour will be made into a DVD (out 09/23! Footage is from Tokyo Dome though) so everyone can see it there :D This is also probably most help to myself to remember my experience later.
It's my second time seeing Kanjani8 live, the last one was 2 years ago at Osaka-jo Hall. I don't get to see them live often so I get really emotional when I do see them. Osaka Dome is also so HUGE and when I started to like them they had lives almost only at a really small theater. Zenyasai@Osaka-jo Hall (Spirits!! DVD) was held just a bit after I became a fan and it was their first big venue. It makes me teary that they have grown such a huge fanbase that they can fill up a dome!
( So there you go )

Okay, here comes my long report of the event! Excuse some Finnish side notes, they are there just so I'd remember some stupid jokes (usually just between me and Yami) and translating them in English makes no sense so.
( Previous day in short - Kari Tapio! XD )
( Waking up; tunnelbana; hostel )
( Finally there!; Reality hits us; me&Yami got interviewed )
( INSIDE!! )
( Performing; handshaking )
( After the event )
( It's not over yet! )
( And it was really over... )
( Thursday; back to home )
That took me all day!!
For pictures of our trip and some Tegomass pics too, go to Miia's report on her LJ!
